Happy New Year, JFK Families,

We are excited to turn the calendar to 2025 after a very successful 2024. In December, our JFK hallways were decorated and almost 450 visitors enjoyed Hot Cocoa while walking our halls on December 16th. Thank you, families, for coming to JFK to enjoy a night of fun.

On January 16th, all families are invited to come to JFK from 4:30 – 7:30 for a Community and Wellness Fair. At this event, you will find:

1. Hearing, Vision, and Health Screenings

2. Vendor Booths

3. Activity Registrations

4. Family Games

5. Door Prizes

6. A BBQ Food Truck to purchase food

This event is run through the Community Learning Center and is guaranteed to be a fun filled night. Please plan to come if you are able.

With our uncertain weather and temperatures, it is important for students to bring all their warm weather gear to school daily. As a general guideline, students go outside if the feel like temperature is above zero and the playground is not iced over.

Finally, February 3rd and February 6th are our next Parent-Teacher Conferences. This is a great opportunity to learn about the continued progress your child(ren) are making while thinking about areas of growth for the last few months of the school year. Please look for information coming out soon to sign up for a specific conference time for your family.

Have a great January, JFK!

Sincerely,

Mr. Wright, JFK Principal

Keeping Students and Staff SAFE is a Top Priority at JFK.

Please be sure to obey all traffic signs while in the school zone. Be sure you are slowed to 15 mph or slower when driving in the school zone. And please do NOT park in No Parking Zones as it blocks visibility in crosswalk areas. Thank you so much for your help and cooperation with this!
