Booster Bash Color Splash Fundraiser
We are excited to announce the kickoff of our OMS Booster Bash Color Splash fundraiser! Our goal is to raise $15,000 to enhance our school’s resources and provide our students with the best possible educational experience.
This year we are raising funds for student enrichment and programming including bus costs and more.
We encourage all families to…
1️⃣ Sign up TODAY at MyBooster.com.
2️⃣ Share about our fundraiser with friends and family.
3️⃣ Donate if you are able.
Throughout the fundraiser, we will have daily giveaway prize winners! You can enter through our fundraising site, MyBooster.com.
We’re currently at $2,416 towards our goal of $15,000. Every donation counts and brings us closer to student enrichment and programming including bus costs and more for our students!
Thank you again for supporting our school! Let's make this weekend a huge success!
Our Booster Bash fundraiser ends with our Booster Bash Color Splash event on Friday, May 9th! All students will get a white t-shirt, courtesy of the PTSO, on Friday morning. Students should wear sneakers to school that they don't mind getting dirty. During the event, students will go outside for one period by grade. There will be a track set up for those who are running. The interior track will be for the students getting the "Color Splash" and the exterior track will be for those students who want to run but do not want to get splashed with the colors. There will be music as well and a place set aside for students who are not running at all.
The color splash consists of corn starch and artificial (not plant based) dyes for coloring. If any student or parent/guardian wishes to opt out of this event, that is completely fine. It is meant as a fun reward for a schoolwide fundraiser and is not mandatory. Parents/guardians can email Principal Crowley to opt-out.
Grade 8 Class Day
The 8th Grade Class Day Promotion Ceremony will take place on Monday, June 16, 2025 at noon in the Stoughton High School Auditorium.
Because there is limited seating in the auditorium, each 8th grader will receive two (2) tickets for in-person guests to the ceremony. The event will be livestreamed for other family members to watch live.
The 8th Grade Class Day Ceremony celebrates the successful completion of the middle school program. More specific details will follow as the date approaches.
Health & Wellness Fair
The OMS and SHS Health & Wellness Fair was on Wednesday, April 30th. We had over 300 students attend! Students learned about health and wellness from informational booths, participated in games, and met comfort dogs!
MAJE Festival
Congratulations to the OMS Jazz Ensemble on their excellent performance yesterday at the MAJE Festival in Easton. These hard-working 7th and 8th grade students earned a silver medal for their performance, and outstanding musicianship awards were presented to Tori Chaisson (trumpet), Mariana Kramer (clarinet), and Carmella Saint-Louis (alto saxophone) for their impressive solos and overall contribution to the group performance. The OMS Jazz Ensemble is directed by SPS music faculty member Una Davenport.
Mental Health Awareness Month
Our Project 351 Ambassador, Tori Chaisson, encouraged students to wear green on May 1st for Mental Health Awareness Month. All Project 351 Ambassadors received a green bandana and Tori embroidered hers below!
Art Clubs
Here are 7th and 8th grade Art Club with a letter from Governor Maura Healey. Governor Healey wrote the OMS Art Clubs students commending them on exercising their civic duty and working together to contribute to the wellbeing of our community with their involvement in the Art Club. She encouraged our students to continue to be "shining examples of engaged and passionate students within the community." It is because of Governor Healey and the Mass Cultural Council Grant that Art Club was able to run this year at OMS and we are grateful for their contribution.
