OST Session 2 OST Session 2

Today, January 24th, is the deadline to submit the Out of School (OST) interest survey (either the blue paper form or online). If your child is officially registered for the second session of the Prussing Elementary’s OST program, you will receive a permission slip next week. Some programs are over capacity and there will be students put on a waiting list.

The second session will start the week of Tuesday, February 11th, with the exception of the Golf Club. All programs end the week of April 17th. This school year the OST programs will be offered Tuesdays through Thursdays. To confirm your child’s entry into the program, you are required to fill out the bottom section of the permission slip. Please return these sheets to school as soon as possible. Deadline to return the permission slip is on Monday, February 3rd.

Any questions, please email Ms. Weingardt at dlweingardt@cps.edu.

STEP-UP Counseling Program

Welcome to the STEP-UP counseling program, this is a school-based program through

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI). We provide individual and family counseling and case management throughout the school year and summer. In the summer, services are provided virtually, at an agreed upon location in the community, or at the LSSI office, 4840 W Byron Street. The services that we provide require written parent consent. For students 12 or older, we can provide up to eight 90-minute sessions without parent consent. Ms. Thompson is the wonderful counselor we have from LSSI.

If you are interested in this please speak with Ms. Kelly or Ms. Keiper.

Small Groups offered:
