We are looking forward to hosting our very first Passport to Vincent Farm, a family event focused on exploring the variety of cultures that make up our Vincent Farm community. We are looking for families willing to share their culture with us. Each family will have a table available to display items showcasing your chosen culture. There are no limits to what you’d like to display! You may also provide a traditional food (think sample size) if you’d like for students and families to share that as well.

Caliday is thrilled to announce our brand-new summer sports program for ages 6-13, Camp Caliday! This high-quality camp is completely different from our Summer Experience programs. Young athletes can focus on one sport per week, with the option to continue the same or explore others throughout the summer.

Camp Caliday will run June 22nd - August 14th at Notre Dame Prep (NDP). Weekly sport options include soccer, lacrosse, tennis, basketball, and volleyball.

Save the date for our annual Spring Fling on Saturday, April 18. As you know, we need many volunteers to make this a successful event! Visit the Sign-Up Genius to help!

Our active VFES PTA supports a variety of events, activities, and services for our students and staff. Examples include field trips, cultural arts assemblies, and family social events. When you join the PTA, your membership payment of $10 per person builds the foundation for all of the work that the PTA does for our Vincent Farm students. Volunteers are always welcome in the Vincent Farm Elementary PTA. Assistance with membership, fundraisers, spirit nights, and more is than appreciated.

There is only 1 more month to order the 2025-2026 yearbook. A soft cover yearbook is only $19, no tax! Be sure to order by April 14th! You can order one or two ways. If you were at VFES last year, then you are familiar with our Watch D.O.G.S. program. The Watch D.O.G.S. program is a volunteer program that is focused on increasing male volunteers in the school. While it is a national program, we have our very own chapter here at Vincent Farm. All male figures, including dads, stepdads, brothers, uncles, cousins, and special friends are invited.

As a reminder, all D.O.G.S. must complete the BCPS Volunteer Training (new each school year). Once you complete the training, please email Jamie in the front office @jscalice2@bcps.org to receive the sign up to choose your day to volunteer. If every potential volunteer signs up for ONE day this school year, we will have the entire year covered!!

Finally, moms/aunts/grandmothers, we heard your request for your own volunteer program. It's on the way!
