CLEARWATER STEAM NEWSLETTER

Welcome Back Clearwater Elementary STEAM Families,

Welcome to a wonderful new week! I want to highlight how absolutely fantastic our Clearwater Gardens are looking in preparation to begin planting. Thanks to the incredible collaborative spirit of our community.

A huge thank you must go out to:

Our dedicated parent volunteers Mr. and Mrs. Bryant for sanding and prepping the 3rd-grade garden beds and to our 6th grade students who painted the beds:)
To the Flores Family and the Scotts Miracle Gro Company who generously donated soil.
The City of Perris for graciously providing the material for our new trellises.
Our outstanding Grounds crew for their hard work in building the trellises.
Our custodians Ricardo, Maria B, and sub Maria M. for helping clean up the area around the 3rd grade garden on Friday.

Because of all these combined efforts, our gardens are ready and we are all set for a wonderful year of harvest. Have a great week!

Student-Led Conferences Week of November 17 -21

Student-Led Conferences is a modern approach to the traditional parent-teacher conference that puts your child at the center of the conversation. During this time, your student will guide you through their recent work, discuss their progress toward their learning goals, and reflect on both their strengths and areas for growth. This format helps students build accountability, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of their own learning. Please note that it is essential for your K- 6 grade student to attend the conference with you, as they will be the ones leading the discussion. We are excited for you to experience this powerful opportunity the week of November 17 - 21 to see your child's progress through their own eyes!
