Success at FES!

We had a very successful week at FES! There was much learning, laughing and earning of classroom P.R.I.D.E Paws! The biggest success for me this week was running the students through the A.L.I.C.E. Drill on Thursday. Every single student followed the plan and we knew that in any emergency we were safe. I appreciate the students participation, their questions and discussion around school safety. I want to thank the families for their support in making this a school-home conversation. Thank you!

FES Students Bringing Light to Many

Our students continue to expand their creative practice as they imagine, plan, create, reflect, and share. This week we looked at works by Piet Mondrian for inspiration for independent projects. We also enjoyed building lanterns with Children and the Arts. Students are very excited to be invited to carry their beautiful lanterns with the ConVal community again this December 6th. It is always a treat to create and celebrate art with Mrs. Connelly. The 2025 Lantern Festival is scheduled on the weekend of December 5th in Peterborough with a Garden of Light lantern parade at 6pm on Saturday, December 6th. Please visit https://www.childrenandthearts.org/annual-lantern-festival for updates and more information about program events.

A Plug for the PTO!

Please remember if you would like to join our PTO, we would love to have you! The contact person is our own Laura Mafera at laura@fespto.net. Our PTO is small but mighty and the more hands, the merrier! They do amazing things to support our students. We really appreciate their time and energy supporting all the students and staff at FES! Thank you!
