Congratulations to Kierra and Sia!! I am very proud of each of you!!

Thank you, Ms. Smith, for continuing to inspire and challenge our students!!

I want to commend our WMS Math Team for doing a great job this year. They have competed in four competitions so far and were the overall winners of the meet on January 28th!! They are working hard for the final competition and hope that some of the team members will qualify for the State competition.

Congratulations to all of the members and Mr. Manchester for being the Faculty Advisor!! Keep up the great work!!

Their next meet is Thursday, March 11th!! Make us proud, WMS Math Team!!

I would like to thank all of the wonderful members and volunteers of the WMS PAC who are helping deliver supplies to our Freedom students taking Art with Mr. Roberts. They have been zipping all over Wilmington and dropping them off. Be on the lookout for them as they will continue to complete the deliveries through the weekend.

On March 1st, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education provided updated safety guidance that will now allow our students to sing indoors. Mrs. Prindiville is very excited and will begin lessons where the students will get to sing again starting next week!!

Dear Staff, Students, and Families:

As many of you know from a recent email from Assistant Superintendent Christine Elliot, we have begun planning for the 2021 MCAS season. Dates for WMS by Cohort are listed above, as well as in a graphic linked below. I have also included Mrs. Elliot's letter which has helpful information.

Middle School Students - please follow the instructions below to test if your one-to-one device can be used for MCAS testing this spring and then take the linked survey. The survey provides an option to sign up for an appointment with the OIT Department should your device need something to be used for MCAS. If you do not have a school-managed Chromebook to use or Testnav does not work - please continue to Step 2 and take the survey.

Step 1 - Open TestNav and perform the App check. Note - this cannot be done while logged into the Chromebook - you may need to print or follow these instructions from another device.

1. Power off your Chromebook and power it back on - do not log in.
2. Choose TestNav from the Apps button in the lower-left
3. If prompted to choose a State - choose Massachusetts.
4. Once TestNav has loaded - choose App Check from the drop-down menu in the upper right.
   
5. Click Run App Check (no configuration identifier is needed)
6. Take Note if the Kiosk Mode and Connectivity both have passed or failed.
7. To exit TestNav, press your power button and choose to Sign Out or Power off.
