A New Way to Experience This Newsletter
Listen to this October EdTech Newsletter through A Podcast Style!
Looking for another way to interact with this newsletter?
For this month, we want to show an example of a podcast style audio recording created by an artificial intelligence (AI) tool known as NotebookLM, that goes through all the highlights of this October newsletter. This is just a taste of what NotebookLM can do - it can transform text into engaging audio experiences, opening up new possibilities for learning and communication. Tech Spotlight: Showcasing Leaders and Innovation
Every month, we will be featuring a person, school, or event to showcase inspiration, innovation, and/or leadership in the technology space.
Nicole Majeau is a Mathematics teacher at Centre High Campus, working with 17- to 20-year-old students in their 4th and 5th years of high school. Over her 9 years at Centre High, she has learned that this unique population loves the chance to feel like kids again, even through short, fun activities. This experience sparked Nicole’s interest in using EdTech to engage adult learners, leading her to her first EdTech Summit in 2015. Her passion for educational technology grew during these early in-person summits, where she realized its potential to transform classrooms. Nicole has even presented at a couple of summits over the years.
