Jonny Rodriguez-Mora

I am nominating Jonny Rodriguez-Mora. Jonny comes to school with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. In the last few weeks, Jonny has opened up and started to participate in classroom discussions and has become a risk taker where previously he did not participate much at all in classroom discussions. It is neat to see Jonny build confidence and start to blossom! Jonny is a very kind young man to ALL students, always including others when others are left out or need a partner. I can count on Jonny to lead by example. He follows directions the first time given and is always the first one to volunteer in the classroom if something needs to be picked up or taken care of.

Gia Barone

Gia is a leader!!! She follows directions. She goes above and beyond and helps her peers all the time. This is with their jobs, if they need help with work, and if they have any questions in general. Gia works hard every single day. She loves to help her classmates as well. If someone does not understand something, she is there to help. Furthermore, Gia is a kind student. She never brings students down. She makes sure that she is kind, honest, and respectful. Gia is awesome!

Victoria Duran- Ruiz

For the following reasons, I am nominating Olivia Ferry to be considered for recognition as the 5th-grade student of the Month:

Olivia consistently exhibits the traits of a Ryan Leader, being respectful, responsible, safe, and kind to members of our classroom family and adults within our building. Her pleasant disposition, manners, and work ethic are impressive. She's a kind and considerate student; I'm glad to be her teacher. Her friendly, positive, and kind attitude guarantees that anything she takes on will be done with a positive mindset and a smile!

Classroom Placement Information Classroom Placement Information

Ryan Elementary Families and Future Families,

We have reached the point in our school year that we are beginning to plan for next year’s classroom placements. Our first priority must be to maximize the learning of all of our students. It is critical that we make all classrooms as balanced as possible, using a broad range of indicators. As a District, teacher requests are discouraged, and we cannot guarantee they will be granted because they have the potential to create unbalanced classrooms and reduce the effectiveness of student growth. We also can’t guarantee which teachers will be teaching at each grade level.

Instead, we welcome you to contact us with any information that you wish to share about your child’s specific learning needs to inform our placement decisions. It is our goal to maximize success for all children. If you have specific concerns about your child’s education, please feel free to contact us via email or SeeSaw, send a note with your child, or call the school to discuss your concerns. This information will be taken into consideration when placing students into next year’s classrooms.

We are confident that we have great teachers here, and we, as a building, will make sure that we are delivering exactly what your child needs and quality instruction in every single classroom.

Please know that classroom placements will be sent to families by mail in early July.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve your family.

Ryan Elementary End of the Year Extravaganza Ryan Elementary End of the Year Extravaganza

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to the Ryan Elementary End of the Year Extravaganza, happening on Thursday, May 15th, at the high school football field.

To make it convenient for families, we have organized all activities for a single day, so you won't have to take multiple days off work. The event kicks off with our award ceremony at 10:15 a.m., followed by the Ryan Elementary Family Picnic starting around 10:40, and concludes with our exciting Field Day event. We encourage you to bring your lunch, lawn chairs, and/or blankets to enjoy lunch with your student(s.) Alternatively, adult meals can be purchased for $5.50, which includes a hot dog, baked beans, assorted fresh fruit, chips, and a sugar cookie. Kindly return the form below and payment to Mrs. Mullins in the office by May 8th if you plan to purchase lunch. Once we receive payment, we will send you a lunch ticket. You will need to present your lunch ticket to receive a lunch that day.

Given the condition of our track, we kindly request that foot traffic on the track be limited to preserve it for our Varsity and Junior High track practices.

In case of rain, we have a backup date set for Monday, May 19th. Details will follow if necessary.

We hope to see you all there for a day of fun and celebration!
