AGHS Parking Application: 2025-2026 School Year

Applications are now open for parking spots for the 2025-2026 school year! All students who will be juniors or seniors next year are eligible to apply. Please see the application link for more details.

Please note, the form is set to only accept submissions from student email addresses (@myagsd.net).

SPARK Award Nominations

Nominate an inspiring teacher for the Avon Grove Education Foundation's SPARK Award! Honoring educators who show dedication, innovation, and kindness, one teacher from each school will receive a $100 prize. Submit your nomination using this form by May 2, 2025!

Staff Appreciation Lunch

The Avon Grove High School PACE (Parent & Community Engagement Committee) powered by PAC is holding a Staff Appreciation Lunch on Friday, May 9. Please see the link to sign up to contribute to lunch! We are so thankful to be able to show our appreciation to the teachers and staff of Avon Grove High School! Please be sure to include an ingredient list with any homemade items.

Prom & School Attendance

Please note that students must attend school for at least a half day in order to attend prom. Samples of early dismissal notes are here in English and Spanish. Early Dismissal notes for prom are due by the Wednesday before prom.

Prom & Breathalyzer

The Avon Grove High School Senior Prom will be held on Friday, May 23, at the Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware.

All Avon Grove High School students and their guests shall be subjected to a passive, non-invasive breath analysis prior to entering and exiting the prom and After Prom. Declining a breath analysis shall be considered to be a positive test. At arrival, anyone declining a breath analysis or under the influence of drugs or alcohol shall not be admitted to the event. Parents/guardians will be contacted to pick up students and/or the guests who decline a breath analysis or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol at arrival, departure, or any time during the event. School disciplinary procedures shall apply. Ticket costs will not be refunded to students or guests who decline a breath analysis or are found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

We are looking forward to a wonderful, safe prom season.

Upcoming Keystone Exams

AGHS will be administering Keystone Exams for selected 9th - 11th grade students during the Spring Keystone Testing Window (Monday May 12th - Monday May 19th). Students who are in Algebra I, English 10, Biology, and other Keystone trigger courses will test during the 2025 spring window. The dates for these exams are as follows:

Algebra 1: Monday May 12th and Tuesday May 13th

Biology: Monday May 12th and Tuesday May 13th

Literature: Wednesday May 14th and Thursday May 15th

Students who are taking multiple exams: Wednesday May 14th and Thursday May 15th

Additionally, all 11th grade students who have not yet taken all three Keystone exams are also scheduled to test. All students must complete all three Keystone exams prior to the spring of their Junior year in order to meet federal education accountability guidelines and PDE graduation requirements.
