The last day of school is Friday, May 23rd. Students will be dismissed two hours earlier than usual, which is 2:05 for elementary buildings.

We are looking for volunteers for our fourth quarter incentive, which will be out water recess incentive! We are looking for at least 6 volunteers to help out at the 6 stations. In the SignUp Genius you will see there is either AM or PM slots available. If you would like to do the entire day that is fine as well, there will be a break from 12:00PM-1:00PM.

If you know that your student(s) will no longer be attending Sycamore Creek Elementary next school year, we encourage you to let us know. This helps us in the fall when we are trying to track down students that we were expecting to attend , but haven't shown up. If we are aware that a student will be moving and attending a different district, we can reach out to that district and confirm the move. Until we are in communication with the new district and they have requested your student's records, your student is considered our student and will be marked absent.

SCE is excited to announce a special visit from Douglas Bickert and R2D2 on Monday, May 5th! Mr. Bickert travels all over the Columbus area sharing his story about the robot that he built himself! We would love to celebrate this day by students wearing anything Star Wars - please no masks or weapons! We are super excited to announce that the volunteer form has become electronic across all schools in PLSD. This means that the paper forms that have been used in the past will no longer be used to sign up to be a volunteer.
