Early Dismissal Notice-Important!
On Friday, December 20, 2024, K-2 Davis and Lane Schools will have early dismissals (12:05 pm for Davis and 11:30 am for Lane). The school committee has approved these early dismissals in order to provide classroom K-5 classroom teachers extended periods of time to review upcoming units and develop consistent plans for implementation of the new CKLA literacy curriculum.
Morning Preschool Dismissal Change on 12/20: To ensure the safe and timely pick-up of preschool students prior to the half-day dismissal for K-2 students on Friday, December 20, Morning Preschool Classes will dismiss early at 11:45 AM. This adjustment is made to avoid overlap with the K-2 dismissal. Pick-up procedures will remain the same. Please note that no cars will be allowed in the bus loop after 12:00 PM as buses will begin arriving to pick up K-2 students. Pick-up for full-day preschool students is not affected and will occur at the regular time, 2:35 PM. Thank you for your cooperation!

News from Nurse Jen
Winter weather is here!
-Please be ready to send in snow pants and boots so your child can play in snow when possible. If students do not have these items we ask them to play on the hardtop so they are not wet for the rest of the day.
-It is helpful to send in extra pants and socks in case they get wet through these outer layers.
-If you are having trouble supplying winter clothing items please reach out and we can help connect you with resources.
Vomiting/Fever Reminder
As a reminder, our policy states that your child needs to remain home for 24 hours after a vomiting episode and/or a fever. Please use this link for more detailed information on when to keep your child home.
News from PE Department
With "Boot Weather" upon us, kindly send your child with a change of sneakers on their physical education days. P.E. schedules for both teachers can be found below.
Thank you, in advance, for your assistance!
Ms. Angela Venezia and Mr. Dean Ientile
