Dear CLMS Families,
💙Sagayt k'üülm goot (All of One Heart)💙
MSXC Announcement
MSXC (Middle School Cross Country) will be starting Tuesday, September 8 at 3:45 pm, at the Court. The parent meeting will be during the MS Orientation, on Monday August 31. Please see the attached information sheet!
MS Band Announcement
6th-grade students will start Band this year! Students will be trying instruments in class and have the opportunity to choose which instrument they would like to play for the year. They will be issued an instrument (or use one from home, if available) and are expected to practice outside of class for at least 1 hour per week. Weekly practice cards will be sent home as homework later in September, as soon as students can take instruments home (we will learn how to use and care for instruments in class for a few weeks before allowing them to leave the band room). Practice cards can also be filled out by Ms. Rosendale during practice times in the band room Mondays-Thursdays, 3:05-3:45 pm. Remember, only students enrolled in Band should be using their school-issued instruments!
Have band equipment at home?
Families, if you have any band books, drum practice pads, or band instruments left over at home from previous students, please return them to the school as soon as possible.
