Dear IG Families:
We had such a wonderful week at Ivan Green. Our students returned from break eager to see their friends and continue learning. I spent time this last week reviewing each student's progress with each classroom teacher, and I am in awe of our hard-working students (and teachers). We are seeing lots of students making terrific progress as readers, and that is such an inspiration for us all. Thank you for everything you do to help make our jobs easier.
As the days get longer and after school activities pick up, we start to see a lot of super tired students. Our hope is that you will try to maintain your routines at home so that students are as rested as possible. Some nights there are just too many things to juggle, but we know that our students are more alert and better behaved when they can stick to their routines when possible.
Sincerely,
Lucas Hiley. Ed.D.
