I would like to take a moment to thank all of you who came and participated in the carnival a few weeks ago. There are many great things that go on here, and the carnival is a great showcase for those things. The community around W. A. Porter is amazing and very supportive of the core mission of the school.
The carnival just doesn't happen over night. It takes many many hours of volunteer work to get everything in place for the fun on the Saturday of the event. Many hours by many many volunteers. Without all of the volunteers the carnival would not be as fantastic as it is.
But in order for the volunteers to do the prep work, planning must take place. I'd like to personally thank the W. A. Porter P.T.A. for all of the effort time and planning that is put into the carnival.
In addition, special thanks to Meredith Roswell for taking the lead on our carnival this year. I can't say enough words to thank Meredith for her efforts.
Also, thanks goes out to Mikel Siegmund for all of her efforts in creating such an amazing silent auction. What a great job of heading up a big component of what makes the carnival special.
Thanks to all of you who participated and volunteered to make the day such a great success.
