Dear Explorer Families,

It's been another wonderful week at Donald Eismann Elementary! Please ask your child to share something special about their week and one way they were creative at our school. Creativity is one of the most important skills for a better future because it is only by imagining new or improved solutions that it is possible to solve present problems. We hope that what our students are learning in school is transferring to your home and our community! We have great kids at Donald Eismann!

Take care,

Bobbi Snider, Principal

May is Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, a time to celebrate and honor the rich cultures, traditions and contributions of these diverse communities.

In 1977 the U.S. Congress chose the first ten days of May to commemorate the history and contributions of Asian American communities here in the U.S. The week's observance became a month, the very month in which the first Japanese immigrants came to the U.S. in 1843.

As a school community, we recognize the importance of acknowledging and valuing the unique experiences and perspectives of all our students and families. Let us come together to celebrate the diversity that makes our school and our community so vibrant and unique.

Mental health wellness is an essential part of the overall health and well-being of both our students and staff. Mental health challenges affect all of us and the way we think, feel and act.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we’re spreading awareness about what’s available to help staff and students. For a list of resources, visit these pages on our website:
