Dear Duval Families-

We’re excited to celebrate the 100th day of school this Monday, a special milestone that highlights just how much our students have learned and grown this year. We look forward to a fun day of learning activities and school spirit as we recognize all the hard work that has brought us to this point! We’re less than a week away from our Boosterthon Fun Run on Friday, February 13th, and the excitement is building! Our schoolwide goal is to raise $25,000 to improve our cafeteria stage, including upgraded sound and lighting so our students can truly shine during performances and events. As of 2/7, we’ve already raised $12,000 — nearly halfway to our goal — thank you for your amazing support!

We also have two weekend challenges: anyone who donates this weekend will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a $200 Amazon gift card, and if we reach 60% of Duval students registered on MyBooster.com, our whole school will earn a one-day pass to Great Wolf Lodge. There’s still time to register, share, and help us cross the finish line. We can’t wait for this fun and energetic day with our students!

- Students MUST come to school prepared to go outside which includes a winter coat, and gloves, hat and boots on really cold or snowy days. Kids MUST have boots to play IN the snow. Please email Ms. Craig or Mrs. Salamone if you need help getting winter gear.

- Traffic around Duval is ONE WAY. Toward South Ave both in front and behind the school. There is NO PASSING during Drop Off or Pick Up.

- There is also no public access behind the building during school hours. Even if the cones aren't up, please don't drive around the building 9:20am-3pm.

- Please don't rely on a phone call or email during the day for dismissal changes. Unless it is an emergency, please send a note.

Hello Duval families!

We have officially kicked off our 2026 Boosterthon! We are currently halfway to our goal of $25,000 and 50% of our students have registered. If we hit 60% all students at Duval will receive a day pass to Great Wolf Lodge! Registration is free and easy at my booster.com. We are raising funds to make improvements to our cafetorium. The program culminates with a Glow Run on Friday 2/13. Due to space and safety constraints in the gym this event is not open to families but it will be recorded and shown on the WHCA page. Make sure to follow our PTO Facebook page for all the latest updates as we approach the event!

Our February PTO meeting is this week, join us at 7p in the Duval library on 2/10. We will be discussing lots of upcoming events. Childcare is provided by NHS students from Whitman- Hanson.

The Duval Talent Show will be held on 3/19 at WHRHS. Signup via Google form (https://forms.gle/mefvAG85Et9R83vc8) or the attached paper form, no need to do both. Signup deadline is 2/23 so sign up today!
