JHE GT3 Advanced Learning

Hi families,

This week, students completed their videos. We tied up all the loose ends of our projects and recorded our audio to match our visuals. Next week, students will enjoy watching their final product, as well as the products from other classes as we celebrate the end of the independent study!

5th Grade: Tues 10:15-12:15

1st/2nd/4th Grades: Thurs 8:00-10:00

3rd Grade: Thurs 12:40-2:30

I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and my Master's Degree from Dallas Baptist University. I have earned certificates in ESL, GT, and administration. This is my 20th year in education and my 6th year as an Advanced Learning teacher. I serve 2 schools, Forestridge and Jess Harben. I love opportunities to be creative, and my favorite subject has always been writing. If I wasn't a teacher, I would be an author! When I'm not teaching, I love hanging out with my friends and family. I have two daughters, a 6 year old and a 3 year old. We like to do art together and spend time outside. In my (very little) spare time, I like to shop and watch movies. I also enjoy traveling!
