Principal's Message
Dear Yowell Families,
There are only three more wake-ups until Winter Break! This year our staff will be sending home Winter Break Family Fun Bags. You will find brownies to bake in the bag, "YES"zee to play, popcorn to pop and enjoy a movie, and some paper to make snowflake decorations. Our staff values family and the time spent together. Please accept this gift and use the #YESitsbreak so we can see the family memories being made over break.
CCHS Band will be entertaining our students and staff with music tomorrow morning and we will end our week with the Yowell sing-a-long on Wednesday afternoon. We would like to ask you to please keep early dismissals on Wednesday to a minimum so the students can enjoy this festive tradition.
Lastly, I want to address our curbside drop-off and pickup. We ask that once you enter the parking lot you stay in your lane. Changing lanes is not necessary and unsafe. In the afternoon your number is reported in a specific lane and when you change lanes it throws off the balance and dismissal. The last factor is speed. There are constantly people coming and going in our parking lot as well as students.

Yowell Can Drive Results!!
A BIG thanks to everyone for your generosity for the SCA food drive! We had a total of 1,447 nonperishable food items donated to support the Culpeper Community Christmas Basket Program! Thank you to Mrs. Dillon and our SCA members for organizing this event! Our second grade team had the most donations in the school with a total of 389 food items; stay tuned for your sweet treat! Thank you again, to all that donated!

Transportation: Morning update document
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
