Buenas tardes familias de James John,

Ahora que nuestros estudiantes de 1º a 5º grado se sienten más seguros al navegar por nuestros pasillos y encontrar sus aulas, el próximo lunes comenzaremos nuestro Modelo de Llegada "Inundación".

Los estudiantes esperarán en sus áreas asignadas a la hora de llegada hasta que suene el primer timbre. Una vez que suene la campana, los estudiantes ingresarán a nuestro edificio y se dirigirán a sus salones de clases. Si su hijo no está desayunando, los padres pueden esperar con su hijo hasta que se abran las puertas. También contaremos con supervisión de un adulto. Las puertas de la cafetería seguirán abiertas a las 7:45 am para los estudiantes que deseen desayunar. Las aulas de kindergarten mantendrán su misma rutina.

Recordatorio para la próxima semana, tendremos la Noche de Regreso a Clases el próximo jueves 19 de septiembre de 5 a 7:15 pm; lea la información proporcionada en el boletín informativo de esta semana. A partir del próximo lunes 16 de septiembre, comenzará la construcción de la calle en N. Charleston frente a nuestra escuela. La construcción de los topes en las calles comenzará aproximadamente a las 8:30 am. Por lo tanto, recomendamos encarecidamente dejar a sus hijos en nuestro “Driveway” James John ubicado en la esquina de N. John St. y N. Kellogg St.

Para celebrar nuestro nuevo lugar de entrega, tendremos una fiesta de entrega la mañana del 23 de septiembre de 7:45 a 7:55 am; tendremos música y refrigerios para los estudiantes.

Good afternoon James John Families,

Now that our 1-5 graders are feeling more confident navigating our hallways and finding their classrooms, next Monday we will be starting our Arrival “Flood” Model.

This is when students wait at their designated areas at arrival time until the first bell rings. Once the bell rings students enter our building and head to their classrooms. Teachers will be greeting students at their classroom doors and help usher students through the hallways.

If your child is not having breakfast, parents are welcome to wait with their child until doors are open. We will have adult supervision as well. Cafeteria doors will still be opened at 7:45 am for students who would like to have breakfast. Kindergarten classrooms will maintain their same routine.

Reminder for next week, we will be having Back to School Night this coming Thursday, September 19th from 5 - 7:15 pm, please read the information provided in this week's newsletter. Starting this coming Monday September 16th, street construction will begin on N. Charleston in front of our school. Street bump construction will begin at about 8:30 am. Thus, we highly recommend dropping off your children using our James John “Driveway” located at the corner of N. John St. and N. Kellogg St.

To celebrate our newish drop off location we will be having a Drop Off Party the morning of September 23rd from 7:45 to 7: 55 am - we'll have music and snacks for students.
