We are super excited for SCORE BIG WITH KINDNESS WEEK and National School Breakfast Week starting Monday, March 8th! Please join us by dressing-up and completing kindness challenges each day. Check out the flyer below for more information. Please also support our cafeteria by starting your day with a FREE school breakfast. We will be collecting donations of cereal for our local food pantry and Blessings in a Backpack program throughout the week. The class with the most donations will earn an ice-cream party.

Please remember that Friday, March 12th marks the end to our 3rd quarter. There will be a 12:30 early dismissal on this day. This is also the one year anniversary of the Friday that we were told our schools were going to be shutdown. We will dress up as our favorite "Zoom Teacher" (or staff member) on this day to show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate them. Our entire school community, including parents, teachers, students, and other staff members have overcome many obstacles throughout this past year. We are so thankful that we are able to be in-person during fourth quarter this school year. It is something that we no longer take for granted and should definitely celebrate! Let's finish the year strong!

We are collecting cereal donations all next week, March 8th-12th. We will donate these boxes of cereal to our local food pantry and our Blessings in a Backpack program. Blessings in a Backpack sends food and snacks home with students on Fridays. Blessings in a Backpack try to send more food and snacks with students in need prior to extended breaks like our upcoming spring break. Your cereal donations will be greatly appreciated! The class with the most donations will earn an ice-cream party.

Girls in 6th-8th grade are invited to join our Junior High Girls Basketball Team. Practice will start on Monday, March 8th from 4:30-6:00 at the Wolf Ridge Gym.

Did you know that you can also participate in track?

Any student in 6th-8th grade can join the Junior High Track Team on Monday, March 8th from 3:00-4:00 at Wolf Ridge.

All athletes need an updated physical to participate. There will not be tryouts for either of these teams unless numbers exceed the allowable number by IESA. We encourage our students to get involved and stay active!

We will share out many more details in the months to come. However, at this time, we would just like to get an idea of how many students would be interested in joining us this summer.

There will be an official sign-up at a later date. All students are welcome to join. If numbers are too great, then we will accept students into our program based on need.

Do you have a child or know a child that will be three or four years old before September 1, 2021? If so, be sure they know about our FREE PreK screenings for the BHCUSD8 Preschool Program. These screenings will take place on March 11th and 12th. Please call the Wolf Ridge Office at 618-585-4831 to schedule a screening.
