Making the Most of Pony Pursuits

Now that Pony Pursuits is underway, we want to clarify what students and families can expect. Built into our EVEN-day schedule (Periods 2, 4 and 6), Pony Pursuits provides dedicated time for academic support, leadership, community-building, and exploration of college and career opportunities.

Pony Pursuits is part of the regular school day, and attendance is required just like a class. Please avoid signing students out or scheduling appointments during this time so they can take full advantage of the opportunities available.

Four Students Named National Merit Semifinalists

Congratulations to Stillwater Area High School seniors William Foote, Qianyi Li, Mia Otsuka, and Cecily Weston for being named Semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

These four students scored among the top 1% of more than 1.2 million juniors nationwide who took the PSAT, placing them in an elite group of just 270 Semifinalists across Minnesota.

Next, they will vie for a chance to become Finalists and compete for $24 million in national college scholarships awarded this spring.

School Photos Issued To Students

Due to an error in Lifetouch's ship-to-home process, school photos were sent to SAHS rather than being shipped directly to student homes as intended. School photos were distributed to students during classes on Friday 9/11.

If you have any questions regarding your student's photo, please reach out Lifetouch's customer service team at Mylifetouch.com. You will need to reference your student's ID number, which can be found in PowerSchool.
