Jamarama Jamarama

Jamarama is back on Friday, October 24. Let’s have the biggest, coolest PJ party ever across Newfoundland and Labrador! Wear your pajamas to school or work in support of the Janeway. Taking part in Jamarama is easy! Simply wear your pajamas to school! Wearing pajamas is a sign of solidarity and support for the brave kids at the Janeway Hospital who don’t get to change out of their PJs. If you wish to give online the link is:

It has been an amazing three weeks of cross country running for our students! We had almost 50 students compete over the three races and are so incredibly proud! Congratulations to all who participated. Thank you to the parents & guardians for getting your children to these races. It is so greatly appreciated. Huge thanks to Mme. Cooper for all of her work with these athletes!

Dressing for Weather Dressing for Weather

With the weather changing and temperatures getting cooler, this is a gentle reminder that students should come to school each day prepared for outside play time. This includes appropriate shoes, a warm jacket or sweater, and a hat and mittens. Please mark all items with your student's name.

Looking for Coaches Looking for Coaches

We are searching for coaches for our Grade 5 Boys and Grade 4 Girls Basketball Programs. Please contact dawntulk@nlschools.ca if you are interested!

Come support Ms. Jones and the MUN Sea-Hawks! Come support Ms. Jones and the MUN Sea-Hawks!

Sarah Jones, who is an intern at our school (and was for part of last year), is a proud member of the MUN Sea-Hawks soccer team. We have partnered with MUN Athletics to create a unique opportunity for students and families of Rennie’s River to watch her (and the rest of her team) play! October 18th, at 5pm, students and families of Rennie's River Elementary will have free entry to watch and support our local university stars. The game will take place at the new Fortis Soccer Field (located behind the Aquarena). Please let your student’s teacher know if you plan to attend so we can provide an estimate of how many from our Rennie’s family will be attending.
