Thank you to all the families for coming out to our first annual Hood-Case Lights. Visitors were able to walk through the nature center to see our light displays, write a letter to Santa in the greenhouse and enjoy cocoa, cookies and a Christmas movie. We enjoyed the time together !

These students earned positive office referrals for having great character! Way to go!

Practice is critical to the success of our teams. At this time, coaches are conducting try-outs to determine final team placement.

• Spanish Storytelling (2nd/3rd) will practice Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in room # 206.

• Chess Puzzles (2nd-5th) will practice Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in room # 407.
  

• Creative Writing (2nd) will practice Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in the Art Room.
  

• Ready Writing (3rd-5th) will be practice Tuesday mornings at 7:15 in room # 408.

• Storytelling (2nd/3rd) will practice Wednesday mornings at 7:15 in room # 212.
  

• Number Sense (4th/5th) will be practice Wednesday mornings at 7:15 in the Science Lab.
• Oral Reading (4th/5th) will practice Friday mornings at 7:15 in room # 411.
  

Students who have demonstrated trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Congratulations to this weeks winners!

Hornet PTO would like to thank Donut NV for coming out on Friday with yummy treats for our staff!

Hood-Case would like to send a HUGE shout-out to Smoothie King in Alvin!

They came to our faculty meeting on Wednesday and provided the entire staff with FREE amazing smoothies.

It was such a great surprise. Please go by and support this wonderful hometown business.

We cannot thank The Home Depot in Alvin enough for all of their support. Without them, our Hood-Case Lights Family Night would not have happened. Not only did they provide all the lights, generators, and décor but they sent out a team to help us display it all! AND to top it off, they are coming back to take it all down. They are a business that is all about investing in their community and we are so honored that they chose Hood-Case! Shout out to the store manager Chuck. Next time you are in the store, please share your appreciation with them on supporting our school! Thank you Home Depot!

THANK YOU to Chick-fil-a Alvin for donating 100 cookies for the students and families of Hood-Case! They were passed at at our Hood-Case Lights Family Night! Everyone enjoyed them so much! We appreciate Chick-fil-a for always supporting Hood-Case!
