A Message From Our Principal
Dear Collins Hill Families,
Thank you for making October so vibrant! It was wonderful seeing so many families out supporting our students at the Fall Festival, music concerts, One Act Play, and athletic events. Our students continue to shine both in and out of the classroom.
A few quick updates and reminders as we head into November:
- Tardy Policy Update: Thanks to our students' great job adapting to our updated tardy policy, we officially reset tardy consequences as of October 19th! While cumulative attendance records remain visible in ParentVUE, consequences have restarted from zero. Thank you for continuing to encourage daily, on-time attendance.
- Morning Drop-Off Tip: To bypass long lines in the band lot, consider using the drop-off location at the aquatic center/softball lot. Traffic flows much faster there, and it offers a shorter walk to 9th Grade Academy, science, and social studies classrooms.
- • Taylor Road Safety Reminder: For the safety of our students, please do not drop off students on Taylor Road. Additionally, please remind students who walk to school to only cross Taylor Road at the designated crosswalk.
- Finish the Semester Strong: With the end of the term approaching, please check ParentVUE regularly to monitor your student's grades and reach out to teachers with any questions or support needs.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support of our Eagles!
Go Eagles!
Mrs. Lee Augmon, Principal
Collins Hill High School

PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports)
Support PBIS at Collins Hill High School
Dear Community Supporter,
At Collins Hill High School, we believe in recognizing and uplifting the positive behaviors that make our school a thriving, respectful, and inclusive community. Through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program, we celebrate students who demonstrate Scholarship/Service/Spirit, Ownership, Accountability, and Respect (S.O.A.R)—values that reflect the heart of our school and the broader Collins Hill community.
To continue building a culture of pride and positivity, we are seeking donations from our Amazon Wishlist to support PBIS incentives and events. These items help us reward students meaningfully and visibly showcase the great things happening at Collins Hill. From small tokens of appreciation to larger celebrations, every contribution helps reinforce the behaviors that make our school a better place for everyone.
PBIS is more than a school initiative—it’s a movement that strengthens relationships, boosts morale, and fosters a sense of belonging. With your support, we can continue to spotlight the incredible efforts of our students and staff, and inspire even greater pride in our school.
Please consider donating an item from our Amazon Wishlist. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference.

You can now submit information regarding absences, such as doctor's notes, in ParentVUE.
Parents can also submit notes for future days when the student will be absent (up to 7 days into the future). This feature is only for when students will be absent for the whole day. If the student is tardy or absent for only a few periods, please submit the note the following day, after attendance has been recorded.
From the app home screen, students with absences will appear with a number above the "Report Absence" button. Notes should be submitted within seven days of an absence. (Absences can be submitted for same-day full absences. Notes for same-day absences can be submitted until 9:00 am.)

Update your Immunizations
By state law, a valid certificate of immunization (Form #3231) or a notarized statement of religious exemption (Form #2208) is required for school enrollment. The certificate of immunization must be completed by the health department or your private physician. A valid Form #3231 must be marked with either "Date of Expiration" or as "Complete for School Attendance." A certificate marked with a "Date of Expiration" expires on the date indicated. A current certificate must be submitted within 30 days of expiration. A medical exemption, if applicable, should be noted on Form #3231 with a current date of expiration. You may request a form from your school for a religious exemption.
