Mill Creek Principal Update
April 2026 Edition
Motivating, Celebrating, and Enriching Cougars
Message from the Principals
Dear Mill Creek families,
Welcome to April at the Creek! We are excited for beautiful weather and time together with friends.
April is a busy month, as grades 3-5 will begin MAP testing. Look for communication from your child's teacher regarding the class testing schedule. Please ensure your child gets a good night's rest and eats a healthy breakfast each morning so they are energized for testing.
April also brings the end of summer school sign ups. The last day to sign up and be guaranteed bus transportation for summer school is April 23. Here is the link to register: https://www.cpsk12.org/summer-school You may recall that Mill Creek will have summer school classes at Beulah Ralph this summer. Due to the limits on class numbers, second grade has already filled. Please register soon, as the other grades will most likely fill, as well.
Float Your Boat for the Food Bank is entering its final season. Please see the flyer below for more information about how you can donate. Our fourth grade students are excited for the competition for "best boat."
Our Homeschool Communicator Basketball teams begin play this Saturday. The 5th Grade team will play at Smithton against Alpha Hart at 1 pm. The 4th Grade team will play at Oakland at 1:50 pm against Locust Street. Please come out and cheer on our Cougars! The entry fee is $3 for adults and $2 for children.
Don't forget, tomorrow we have optional Spring Pictures and the 5th Grade Panoramic Picture. 5th Graders should wear their blue fifth grade shirts. Make sure your child is on time to school so they don't miss the picture. Let's have a great Spring at Mill Creek!
Go Cougars!
