Principal's Message
This year D2 will implement our Standard Response Protocol (SRP) from the "I love U Guys" foundation. Information on the SRP for parents can be found HERE
Additionally, Dr. Lind shared this letter with the district further explaining the switch both districts are making.
We look forward to sharing the SRP and working with first responders and the community to develop a consistent message that everyone understands.
NMS Retake Policy
At NMS, we believe in providing students with opportunities to grow and demonstrate their learning. To support this, we have established the following test retake policy. In order to qualify for a retake, students must:
- Complete and submit all assignments related to the material
- Complete the study guide
- Meet with their teacher to review areas for improvement and to discuss what they have learned prior to taking the retake
- Retakes must be completed within two weeks of the original test date.
This policy encourages responsibility, accountability, and mastery of learning while giving students a structured path to success.
