Dear Families,

As we approach the close of another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that our Bobcats have accomplished and share just how proud we are of each and every one of them.

This year, our students demonstrated leadership, service, and a commitment to learning in so many ways. They worked hard every single day—setting goals, supporting one another, leading by example, and continuing to grow academically and personally. We were especially proud of the effort and determination students showed during testing. They approached challenges with perseverance and gave their very best.

Throughout the year, we have had the privilege of celebrating so many accomplishments across our school community. We recognized students for academic achievement, positive behavior, character, leadership, service, artistic talents, and countless other successes. We also had opportunities to celebrate our amazing teachers, staff, and families who make Coosa such a special place.

One thing that has stood out this year has been the incredible support from our families and community. Whether attending performances, family nights, celebrations, ceremonies, or school events, your turnout and partnership have been remarkable. Thank you for being present and involved and for trusting us with your children each day. The success of Coosa Elementary truly happens because of the partnership between school and home.

As we finish this school year, we are especially excited to celebrate our fifth graders as they prepare for their next chapter. We know they will carry the leadership skills, relationships, memories, and lessons they built during their time at Coosa with them as they continue to grow and thrive. Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat.

Thank you for an amazing year. We are proud of all we have accomplished together and look forward to seeing what the future holds for our Bobcats.

The pre-ordered yearbooks have now been distributed to students.

Last Chance Yearbook Sale

The CES 2025-2026 Yearbook will be available to order for a limited time starting June 1st.

To place your order, follow these steps:

1. Visit www.strawbridge.net

2. Click "Order Photos and Yearbooks" in the top right corner

3. Enter school code: YB33725

4. Click "Find" and complete the transaction

*Yearbooks purchased this way will be shipped directly to your home.

All library books are now due. Notices of lost or damaged library books continue to go home. Please help your student find missing library books to return to the school library for the summer months.

Fines for lost or damaged books can be paid via exact cash or by check made to Coosa Elementary School.

Beaufort County School District* (BCSD), in partnership with The Nutrition Group, is offering Groceries‑to‑Go, a new free summer food program providing weekly grab‑and‑go breakfast and lunch meal kits for children.

The program runs June 11 through July 31 and is open to children ages 18 and under, as well as eligible individuals over 18 with disabilities who participate in qualifying programs during the school year.

Families may pick up weekly grocery kits on Thursdays from 4–6 p.m. or Fridays from noon–2 p.m. at designated locations in Bluffton and Beaufort. (Pickups scheduled for June 19 and July 3 will move to the Wednesday prior from noon–2 p.m.)

Parents or guardians must reserve a ticket for each child, each week and present the QR code received by email along with an ID at pickup.

💻SORA (K-5) - Sora is a shared, district-wide collection of borrowable eBooks and audiobooks.

💻i-Ready (K-5) - Choose Math or Reading, then work on the next My Path lesson to follow a personalized path of lessons.

💻Discovery Education (K-5) – Search for high engagement topics and follow the Summer of Learning choice board for your grade level.

💻IXL Math (K-5) - Students can click Skill Plans to find the appropriate Summer Boost plan.

💻Zearn Math (K-5) - Students will earn badges for completing digital lessons and independent practice.
