Senior Parents and Students,

Congratulations, Class of 2026! You are almost to the finish line!

Josten Order Pick Up/ Orders: It’s hard to believe that graduation is just around the corner!

The Senior Event Delivery is scheduled for February 13th during lunch in the foyer of the gym. Please note that any graduation orders placed moving forward will not be available for pickup on February 13th and will instead be shipped directly to the home address provided at the time of order. If you have any questions, please contact our Jostens office at 214-383-9502. Please remember that only the official Plano East gown provided by Jostens will be permitted to be worn at graduation.

Senior Panoramic: Please do not forget about the Senior Panoramic that will take place on February 10th in the gym during 3rd period. Students will check into their 3rd-period class and report directly to the gym. We will take our senior panoramic picture and share some important reminders with all seniors afterwards. You will not return to 3rd period and will be released from the gym. Pictures will be available for purchase during lunch the next day in the cafeteria. Graduation Website: Please do not forget to check the Plano East Website regularly for updates. We have made lots of updates to the page with important information like Elementary Reunions link where we will collect the date and times, information about chords and sashes, diploma pick-up, and much more! The Plano East Senior Class Officer application process is designed to identify students who are ready to serve as leaders and representatives of the senior class during the 2026–2027 school year. Senior class officers are expected to uphold high standards of responsibility, professionalism, and respect while working closely with campus administration and the student body.

The application outlines eligibility requirements, key deadlines, and expectations for candidates, including components related to applications, campaigning, and the election process. It also establishes clear guidelines for appropriate conduct and campaigning to ensure a fair and positive election experience for all participants. Apply to be an Intern with the Plano Mayor!

The Plano Mayor’s Summer Internship Program (PMSIP) is an earn-and-learn opportunity open exclusively to Plano ISD students.

Intern Eligibility

• Be a Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a Plano ISD High School
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 with a solid attendance record.
• Be at least 16 years old by June 8, 2026
• Be eligible to work in the United States
• Be available to work the entire 8 weeks of the internship June 8 through July 31
• Be available to attend all PMSIP training and program dates

Applications will be accepted from January 16 to February 9 at 5 p.m. or until 300 applications are received.

Note that applying does not guarantee placement in an internship.

Any exam not registered or paid for by March 6 will be cancelled.

Step 2 - Join the AP Classroom section(s) for EACH exam you have registered to take.

We are happy to share our 2026 Graduation Details!! The ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 28th, at 7:00 p.m. It will be held at The Star in Frisco. We have created our graduation page that will share all the details every family needs. Please know that as we get closer to the spring, more details will be shared on this page, so please check back.

Attention to students in classes associated with AP Classroom,

Whether you have an existing College Board account or are creating a new account make sure the email address on file is your PISD student email. You cannot use your personal email or phone number on your college board account. If you have any question your AP teachers can help walk you through this process. There is a google slides presentation that goes step by step they can share with you. This is necessary for you to be able to continue to access AP classroom throughout the school year as well as for AP testing. You can find more information here.
