CLEARWATER STEAM NEWSLETTER

As we close out the school year, we want to thank you for your continued partnership and support. It has been a wonderful year filled with academic growth, meaningful learning, and strong connections. We are proud of the continued progress we've made in the practices that make Clearwater a standout in our community. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s journey and for trusting us to play a role in shaping their future. Have a safe and joyful summer!

Last week, Clearwater proudly participated in the 1st Annual Graduate Honor Walk on Monday, June 9th. Seniors from four local high schools returned to their former elementary campuses, including Clearwater, to be honored and celebrated. Dressed in caps, and gowns these graduates walked through the campus as current students and staff cheered them on like local heroes. This inspiring event served as a powerful reminder of the lifelong impact of education and the strong connections built within our school community.

We are honored to have welcomed back our former Dolphins and to have given our current students a glimpse of the bright futures that await them.

To our promoting 6th graders, we hope to see them return to participate in 2031!

Clearwater proudly celebrated its 9th Annual Clearwater Olympics during the week of June 9–13. Each classroom represented a different country, researching and presenting their learning through creative displays and activities. Students embraced the Olympic spirit by participating in an exciting opening ceremony and a variety of athletic events. Throughout the week, medals were awarded for the winning olympiads, and the celebration concluded with dance performances representing each country.

Thank you to our dedicated teachers for engaging students in this Clearwater tradition and bringing each country to life in your classrooms. A big thank you to our coaches for preparing our Olympic athletes for their events, and to all staff members who supported throughout the celebration. Special thanks to Mr. Vazquez, Ms. Prout, and Mrs. Roth for their organization and planning in making the 2025 Clearwater Olympics a memorable and successful event!
