Spring is in the air! However, please continue sending winter gear (snow pants, coats, boots, hats, and gloves) with your students through Spring Break. While temperatures may feel warmer at times, snow pants and boots help keep clothing and shoes clean and dry from mud. Thank you!

Thank you to Michigan-based children’s author, TJ Taylor, for visiting LECC and spending her day reading and doing a craft with our students. Each student received a free activity/coloring book to take home as well. Thank you for inspiring kindness, imagination, and confident young readers.

Mrs. Rohdy’s class had a fun time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by building leprechaun traps. Students worked together to design and build their own contraption, using a variety of materials and imagination. Each trap was designed to try and catch one of those mischievous little visitors.

School doors open at 8:47. Please be mindful of how early you are dropping students off. We do not have supervision outside prior to 8:45.
When picking students up, have their number and color card available for the radio staff.
Please make sure students have an extra set of clothes in the event of an accident or spill.
If your child is home with a fever or vomiting, you must keep them home until they are fever free and/or vomiting free for 24 hours without medication.
