WAUWATOSA MONTESSORI SCHOOL

Hello Montessori Families!

Thank you for taking the time to meet with us for conferences last week! We value the partnership between home and school and know that working together is essential to supporting each child’s growth, success, and well-being. By sharing insights, celebrating strengths, and collaborating on areas for growth, we can ensure every child feels supported and reaches their full potential.

We enjoyed a return to a "normal" 5 day week. Highlights included officially naming our chickens (see below), a few classes went on field trips, and today we are building excitement for the Brewers! Next week, we will continue our blue and yellow vibes and gear up to a family favorite PTSA Trunk or Treat!! We also welcome all students to dress like their favorite book character day on Friday, October 30th. Please make sure there are no masks, weapons, sound makers, or giveaways. Bonus points if your child comes with the book their character is from!

Our 4th, 5th and 6th grade students are preparing for their week long trip to Nature's Classroom Institute! If you'd like to support their trip, you can purchase Wauwatosa Village Passports! This exclusive coupon book is packed with valuable coupon offers good at 27 of your favorite Village Businesses. A portion of the sales will go back to the school, which will go towards the bus, snacks, or other whole group expenses! Thanks for considering!

Our Girls on the Run team is putting our lessons about kindness and community into action! At Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 30, stop by our trunk to help us collect donations for two great local causes!

Fischer Woods Little Food Pantry (at WMS): We’re collecting non-perishable food items, including canned goods, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, granola bars, and more.

Wauwatosa Public Library: We’re collecting gently used books, DVDs, music CDs, magazines, puzzles, games (with all pieces), and artwork.

Help our girls make a difference in our community, one donation at a time!
