RISE Monthly Newsletter: November 2026
Happy November, Bronchos!
Trimester 1 is quickly coming to a close. We have only three full weeks of this trimester left. Trimester 1 will end on Tuesday, November 24th, which is a half day. All coursework, including the final exam for each course, for Trimester 1 should be submitted by 11:30 am on Tuesday, November 24th.
We encourage our families to connect with their students about their academic standings, including their grades, course progress, and any missing gradable activities. We have Connection sessions for our students in all of four core subjects and in Spanish. We encourage our RISE students to take advantage of the one-on-one virtual sessions to get the support they need to be successful in their courses.
Starting in Trimester 2, Ms. Godman, our Broncho Virtual Counselor, will be taking over the Broncho RISE mentor meetings. This will allow us to provide consistent attendance meeting times for each Broncho RISE student every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Special services times for any Broncho RISE student who requires special services may be adjusted. Details will be sent directly to those students and their parents/guardians.
Also, moving forward, Broncho RISE students and families will receive a monthly RISE Report with a new monthly calendar and any important updates for the month. Information regarding events and other news that may be of interest to our Broncho RISE families can be found on our website. We also always encourage families to stay up-to-date with district and building news.
We are looking forward to a great wrap-up to Trimester 1 and start to Trimester 2 with all our Broncho RISE students and families!

Attendance Requirements:
- Monday: Individual Mentor Meetings via Google Meet
- Wednesday: Individual Mentor Meetings via Google Meet
- Friday: Individual Mentor Meetings via Google Meet
If HAS is not in session on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, no attendance will be taken.
If HAS has a half day on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, students must complete their two-way communication prompt in their Seminar course. These prompts should be completed by 11:00 am on the day they are posted.
If a mentor teacher is absent on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday, students will receive an email to their school email letting them know they will need to complete the posted two-communication prompt for their attendance requirement for the day. These prompts should be completed by 2:00pm on the day they are posted.
Starting in Trimester 2, Ms. Godman, our Broncho Virtual Counselor, will be taking over the Broncho RISE mentor meetings. This will allow us to provide a consistent time for each Broncho RISE student for their attendance meetings Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
