THE KNIGHTLY NEWS

Dear Families,

We were able to leverage the 70 degree day today for a fire drill but next week the cold weather returns more consistently. We will go outside for recess whenever it's possible, which means you can expect your child(ren) to go outside unless it's below zero degrees with the windchill. Be sure to send coats, hats, gloves, etc to school each day. If your child has misplaced anything, we'd love for you to check the Lost and Found as it is FULL. Inclement weather will disrupt school at some point. You can review the District's procedures for inclement weather days HERE. Each grade level has communicated out their Remote Learning Day expectations with families and will send an email with specific instructions if/when the District utilizes one of those days.

We hope to see you at Turkey BINGO next Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00. Come to Millard South High School to enjoy some pizza, play some BINGO and win books.

Enjoy the weekend,

Dr. Tara Cooper

Our food drive ended this week and we collected 570 pounds of food for the Open Door Mission. Thank you for your generosity and support of Millard Public Schools.

With the cooler weather upon us, the spirit wear store has been reopened to order all your Neihardt gear. The store will close on Friday, December 5th and all products will be delivered before our winter break. Click the link below to place your order.

Thank you to Mr. Rasmussen, father of Olivia and Mr. Salzmann, father of Stella who volunteered as our Watch D.O.G.S. this past week. They spent their time in classrooms, PE, music class, eating lunch with their students and recess. We appreciate them coming in and volunteering.
