Hispanic Heritage Month is a vibrant, 30-day celebration from September 15 to October 15 that honors the rich history, diverse cultures, and profound contributions of Hispanic Americans to the United States. Rather than just a calendar event, it is a living tapestry woven from the independence days of five Central American nations, Mexico, and Chile, extending into October to include Spain and other Latin American cultures. Did you know that nearly 62 million Hispanics call the U.S. home, making it the largest ethnic minority in the country? Yet, many still mistakenly believe this celebration is only about tacos and fiestas. Sharing is Caring @ Surfside!
Our 3K students are learning that kindness starts with caring for one another. In this sweet moment, classmates share hugs, smiles, and friendship as they practice being kind, caring, and supportive. These little moments help our young learners build friendships and learn the joy of being there for each other. Welcome to Pre-K little ones!

Everyday @ 12:30pm, PS 329 students and staff "Drop Everything and Read " their favorite books! Check -out who we caught reading this week! Remember that students must read their favorite books at least 20 minutes each day to enhance their love of reading!
