Mid-October Thoughts
It is hard to believe that the end of our first grading period is this Wednesday! We will officially be one fourth of the way through the school year! Awards will be given in the classrooms for the first and third grading periods. Our first semester and end of the year awards will be in the gymnasium.
This week will celebrate National School Lunch Week. A special thank you to our cafeteria staff for making sure our students have a nutritious and delicious brekfast and lunch each day!
This week also marks Fall Break. We will not have school Thursday or Friday. I hope that you are able to find time to enjoy the fall weather and family time!
October also is Anti-Bullying Month. Please take time to talk with your children about treating others nicely and being the upstander.
As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.
Fall Fundraiser - October 13-24
We've partnered with Poppin Popcorn to raise much needed funds for our School! Please join our fundraiser by clicking the link below.
Supporting our fundraiser can be as easy as sharing a link using Social Media, Text and Email. There will also be a packet sent home that will contain important information about this fundraiser.
Good luck and have fun selling!

October is Accountable/Responsible
Our Habit of Character focus this month is being accountable and responsible. Beginning this Friday, Oct. 10, we will wear orange on Fridays.
Focusing on Habits of Character each month is one way we implement our MCAS Strategic Plan Strategy of Educating the Whole Child.
Volunteer Procedures
All volunteers must be screened prior to helping in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, or other activities. In order to be approved, you must have your license scanned in the office first and then turn in a volunteer form. Approval can take a few weeks so please turn in your volunteer form in early! Once approved, you are approved for 3 years.
More information can be found at: MCAS Volunteers Information
Aren't sure if you have already been approved? Please reach out to Mrs. Bevitori in the office!
