SPRING BREAK ADVENTURES
We wish your family a wonderful and restful Spring Break! As you enjoy this time together, we hope you embrace our school theme for the year and engage in meaningful adventures.
Whether your adventures take you to new places or invite you to try something new in the comfort of your own home, we hope they provide opportunities to create lasting memories with the people you love most. Time spent exploring, relaxing, and connecting with family is truly valuable.
We look forward to hearing about your experiences and adventures when school resumes on March 23. Until then, we wish you a safe, relaxing, and joyful break!
PHASE 1 OF LANDSCAPING PROJECT
During Spring Break, Gold Rush will begin the first phase of an exciting landscaping project that will continue throughout the spring and be completed toward the end of the school year.
The gravel spaces in front of the kindergarten classrooms will soon become the home of several new plants, trees, and flowers. This project is designed to enhance the beauty of our school grounds and create a more welcoming environment for our students, families, and staff.
If you happen to be near the school during Spring Break, you may notice the beginning stages of the work. Crews will be installing water lines, laying new rock, and placing large boulders as part of the initial phase of the project. Plants, bushes and flowers will be planted in mid May.
We are excited about the improvements this project will bring and look forward to seeing the completed landscape. Thank you for your continued support as we work to make our school campus an even more beautiful place for our community.
CMAS SCHEDULE
After Spring Break, students in grades three through five will participate in the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) assessment. This important statewide assessment measures students’ understanding of grade-level literacy and math standards and helps us better understand their academic progress.
Please mark the testing dates listed below on your calendar. We kindly ask that families schedule appointments outside of the testing window whenever possible, as it is important for students to be present and focused during the assessment. Consistent attendance helps students do their best and allows the testing process to run smoothly with minimal disruptions.
Thank you for your support in helping our students be prepared, well-rested, and ready to do their best!
A SUCCESSFUL SPRING BOOK FAIR
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our librarian, Mrs. Golish, our wonderful parent volunteers, and our PTO for organizing such an incredible Book Fair! Students always look forward to this special event and truly enjoy the opportunity to browse and shop for new books.
The timing of the fair was perfect, as many students were excited to select new stories to enjoy over the upcoming break. Events like this help nurture a love of reading and give students something special to look forward to.
Our Book Fair would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of Mrs. Golish and our parent volunteers. We are so grateful for the time and energy they give to make this honored spring tradition possible for our students.
