How Well Is Your Student Learning?

There are 39 days of learning remaining this school year. Is your student prepared for the next level? We update PowerSchool regularly and we publish new learning every 10 days.

Check PowerSchool to determine your student's proficiency on grade-level standards. Review these numbers below:

--"M:" If your student is measured with "M," this is a red flag to alert you that something may not be going well for your student. "M" indicates your student has not demonstrated any evidence of learning a skill. Please contact your student's teacher.

--1: If your student is measured with "1," this means your student's work is not at grade level and is missing key evidence of learning. Please contact your student's teacher.

--2: If your student is measured with "2," this means that are some skills your student needs to adjust and revise to demonstrate grade-level skill. Ask your student for their rubric and work with your student to talk with their teacher about what thinking needs to be communicated more clearly.

--3: If your student is measured with "3," celebrate your student and their achievement!

--4: If your student is measured with "4," celebrate your student and this accomplishment!

Statewide Testing Nearly Finished at EMS

Many students are complete with the statewide assessment schedule. For students who have not finished yet, a separate testing session will be hosted to ensure these students finish and with the appropriate support. Thank you to our students and staff for giving their best efforts on the statewide assessments in Science (8th), Language Arts (all grades), and Math (all grades).

Student scores will be available throughout the Summer. We use these scores to measure our schoolwide systems and instructional practices. You will receive your student's scores and how their literacy, Science, and Math scores compare with other students their age across the State.
