LVS Newsletter February 16-20, 2026
Mardi Gras Tuesday, February 17
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Let the good times roll!
Our newsletter Editor, Cindy, loves Mardi Gras. She lived in Baton Rouge, LA for sixteen years where she rode in parades and attended many in New Orleans. On Sunday, February 15, Bacchus, one of the most iconic parades of the Carnival Season rolls down the streets of New Orleans. This year's King, Patrick Warburton who's career has spanned nearly four decades and includes film and TV like The Tick, Seinfeld, Family Guy, Friends, The Emperor’s New Groove, and more. In the Disney community, he’s best known for his role as the Chief Flight Attendant during the Soarin’ preshow. He’s even reprised the role a handful of times since it became beloved by fans. He is even in Zootopia 2 as Mayor Winddancer!
