Hello from the Career Center! I hope this newsletter finds you well and gearing up for a great Spring semester. As the new Career Consultant for all Humanities and Pre-Law students in Franklin College, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself...
I began working at the University of Georgia Career Center in December 2014, and now serve as the Career Consultant for all Humanities students, including majors in African American Studies, Classics, Comparative Literature, English, Germanic and Slavic Studies, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, Religion, Women's Studies, Romance Languages and Pre-Law.
Before heading further south and coming to work at the University of Georgia, I lived and worked in North Carolina as a public school teacher, an administrator and staff associate for a non-profit organization, and, most recently, as a clinical counseling intern at High Point University. I received my MS in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with a concentration in College Counseling and Student Development, and my BS in Middle Grades Education from Appalachian State University.
