Dear PLES Families,
We love seeing all the bright, happy smiles around school! A warm thank you to our amazing PTA volunteers who helped make Picture Day run so smoothly.
This weekend, Avon Grove School District is celebrating Homecoming! We hope to see many of our families at the football game or attending Saturday's district events.
In the classroom, our students have also been enjoying Hispanic Heritage Month as we explore the culture and traditions of Mexico.

Learning Spotlight
Our library is filled with wonderful books waiting to be explored! Right now, our young learners are practicing library routines and expectations so they can independently navigate the space and kick off their reading adventures. We can’t wait for them to start bringing books home!
PBIS
This week, students focused on being "Bucket Fillers" on the bus and during carline by practicing safe and caring behaviors on their commutes. Check out our school bus matrix for tips on how your child can fill buckets on the way to school. Taking care of ourselves, each other, and our school is easy when we all work together!
Student Supports
Community Bulletin Board: Explore local activities and clubs on the District Bulletin Board.
Nurse’s Corner
Spare Clothing: Please keep a spare set of clothes in your child's backpack. If your child borrows clothes from the nurse's office, please wash and return them promptly.
When to Stay Home: Keep your child home if they feel unwell or have a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea.
24-Hour Rule: Students must be symptom- and fever-free (without medication) for 24 hours before returning to school. Please have a backup plan ready in case your child needs to be picked up during the school day.
