(a little look at what's been happening at LHS)
CLIPPED WITH KINDNESS
in celebration of the Week of Respect, Hope Squad hosted a school-wide activity called “Clip Someone with Kindness!” Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to write positive and uplifting messages on clothespins and clip them onto a classmate’s backpack. This simple act of kindness was designed to spread positivity, promote respect, and strengthen connections within our school community. A few encouraging words can brighten someone’s day and serve as a reminder that even the smallest gestures can make a BIG difference!
THRIFT SHOP
The Class of 2027 and Project Graduation would like to thank everyone who supported their recent Cardinal Thrift Shop fundraiser! Thanks to the tremendous generosity of our community, they raised over $2,500 to support these organizations and their upcoming activities. In addition, the drive helped give items a second life while helping those in need:
- Over 1,300 pounds of clothing donated to the LMS/LHS PTO
- Winter jackets and blankets donated to Homefront
- Books donated to BookSmiles.org
- Towels donated to Easel Animal Shelter
- Additional items donated to Goodwill

ONCE A CARDINAL...
...always a Cardinal! LHS was proud to welcome back two alumni classes recently, the Class of 1976 for their 50th reunion, and the Class of 1986, celebrating their 40th! Both groups enjoyed feeling like students again as they toured the slightly different halls that they had called home years ago.
