CLIPPED WITH KINDNESS

in celebration of the Week of Respect, Hope Squad hosted a school-wide activity called “Clip Someone with Kindness!” Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to write positive and uplifting messages on clothespins and clip them onto a classmate’s backpack. This simple act of kindness was designed to spread positivity, promote respect, and strengthen connections within our school community. A few encouraging words can brighten someone’s day and serve as a reminder that even the smallest gestures can make a BIG difference!

CANDY COLLECTION FOR THE TROOPS

Give your leftover Halloween candy a new mission and donate it to our troops serving overseas! Lawrence High School’s Sunshine Club is collecting unopened, individually wrapped Halloween candy to send to service members as a sweet reminder that they are appreciated and remembered back home. Instead of letting extra candy go to waste, help us share the sweetness and send a little piece of home to our troops. Thank you for helping us show our service members some extra appreciation this Halloween season!

ONCE A CARDINAL...

...always a Cardinal! LHS was proud to welcome back two alumni classes recently, the Class of 1976 for their 50th reunion, and the Class of 1986, celebrating their 40th! Both groups enjoyed feeling like students again as they toured the slightly different halls that they had called home years ago.
