Last Full Week of the First Semester!

Last week brought us an eventful Magnet Open House, the opening games for the winter athletic season, a Saturday even Winter Formal, and wonderful performing arts performances from our Mariachi, Choir, Band, and Orchestra groups! This week, we are continuing with multiple athletic contests and our Winter Dance Show! Be sure to come on out to support our Sundevils and see all the hard work they have done so far this first half of the school year!

This is the last regular full week of school before the end of the semester. Remember to start studying for your semester exams happening in another week! If you are looking into reassessing, make arrangements with your teacher as soon as possible because the reassessment window is closing by Friday to allow your teachers to grade all your work in time for the end of the quarter! ¡La semana pasada nos trajo una Casa Abierta Magnet llena de eventos, los juegos de apertura para la temporada atlética de invierno, un sábado incluso Winter Formal y maravillosas actuaciones de artes escénicas de nuestros grupos de Mariachi, Coro, Banda y Orquesta! ¡Esta semana continuamos con múltiples competencias atléticas y nuestro espectáculo de baile de invierno! ¡Asegúrese de venir a apoyar a nuestros Sundevils y ver todo el arduo trabajo que han hecho hasta ahora en la primera mitad del año escolar!

Esta es la última semana regular completa de clases antes del final del semestre. ¡Recuerda comenzar a estudiar para tus exámenes semestrales en otra semana! Si está pensando en volver a evaluar, haga arreglos con su maestro lo antes posible porque la ventana de reevaluación se cerrará el viernes para permitir que sus maestros califiquen todo su trabajo a tiempo para el final del trimestre. Senior students and families,

Scholarship season is upon us and deadlines are quickly approaching! Check out your Class of 2023 Canvas page or the counseling website at www.eldoradohs.org for the list of all current scholarships. Counselors will be hosting Scholarship Open Labs every Wednesday and Thursday in the library during lunch till the end of January to assist you in completing the applications!

If you have not already done so make sure to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible. FAFSA is used to determine if you are eligible for federal grants or loans to pay for college. You can find the application at studentaid.gov.
