Principal Weekly Message
Greetings Rincon Community,
Costumes on Friday
Students are welcome to wear your costumes to school on Friday, October 30.
Costume Guidelines:
- Follow the school dress code – Costumes should still be appropriate for school.
- Absolutely no weapons or props that resembles a weapon or dangerous object - Let's stay safe!
- No fake blood – Let’s keep it spooky, not messy!
- No full face masks – We need to see your smiling faces!
- Face paint should cover no more than 60% of your face.
- Move freely – Your costume should allow you to move comfortably across campus.
Inflatable Costumes:
Inflatables are welcome, but be prepared to deflate them to fit into desks or to navigate through campus!
Make sure your costume choice lets you enjoy the day while being respectful to others. Let’s make it a joyful day of learning to remember
Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!
With gratitude,
Principal Meglich

Join Us in Celebrating Red Ribbon Week (October 26–30)!
Dear Rincon Middle School Families,
Next week, October 26–30, our school will celebrate Red Ribbon Week, the nation’s largest drug-prevention awareness campaign. Celebrated annually in schools across the country to honor DEA Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, this week gives us a dedicated time to discuss making healthy choices, staying drug-free, and prioritizing physical and mental well-being.
This year’s national theme is "Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free," which ties directly into our school-wide BARK values:
B – Believe: Believing in our worth and our ability to make healthy choices.
A – Achieve: Protecting our personal goals and futures by staying drug-free.
R – Respect: Respecting our minds, bodies, and personal boundaries.
K – Kindness: Supporting our peers in making positive, safe decisions.
