Nathan Gloth placed in the National History Bee in Orlando, FL last year. This summer, he will represent Wall in Paris at the International History Bee! He was recognized at the January 21st Board of Education meeting.

Congratulations, Nathan!

Alex Esquivel successfully auditioned into the Region 2 Wind Ensemble. Over 600 students auditioned and we are very proud that he will be representing WIS!

WHS AP Computer Science students visited WIS to teach students how to create songs using code blocks. Code blocks are simple sections of code that tell the computer what to do, like playing notes or creating rhythms. It’s a fun way to mix music and programming.

This week, we were honored to welcome Mr. Todd Heiser and Mr. Jarett Makara, Senior Special Agents from the United States Secret Service, for school-wide presentations on online safety. Using the NetSmartz program from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), the presentations provided valuable insights and resources to help educate our students about staying safe online.

Students built a Kindness Chain to showcase all the positive actions they have done this week.

Let’s link kindness throughout the school!
