Empowering Moments
From Superintendent Smith...
It was a great week to celebrate our Falcon High School Falcons!
Last Friday, the FHS Class of 2027 gathered for Senior Sunrise, a special morning filled with pancakes cooked by FHS and Falcon Zone staff, time with classmates, and the official launch of their final year of high school. There is something special about watching a senior class begin its final chapter together. After years of learning, growing, and building relationships, our seniors now have one more year to lead, make memories, and leave their mark before celebrating graduation in May.
Class of 2027, we can't wait to see the Wisdom, Integrity, Networking, Grit, and Self-Confidence you bring to this important year. Make it count, enjoy the journey, and continue to Earn your WINGS!
We also had an incredible opportunity to celebrate our Falcon High School Space Force JROTC Color Guard, who proudly represented FHS and the Falcon Zone at the Denver Broncos' preseason home opener. Our cadets presented the United States flag and Colorado State flag during the National Anthem alongside color guards representing service branches from across Colorado.
This was WINGS in action. Our cadets demonstrated Integrity through their commitment to service, Self-Confidence as they represented their school and community on a tremendous stage, Grit through the discipline and preparation required to perform at this level, and Networking as they joined fellow cadets from across the state in a shared moment of service and pride.
What an incredible opportunity for our students to lead, serve, and represent our community with excellence. Way to go, Falcons!
These are the moments that make us proud to be part of the Falcon Zone: students embracing opportunities, stepping into leadership, serving others, and showing us what it means to Earn their WINGS.
Sincerely,
Brian Smith
Falcon Zone Superintendent

Mr. Bailey (PALC) - The Principal at Patriot is absolutely amazing. It shows all the way down to his staff. They care so much and he is such an amazing leader. I’m so grateful that my daughter gets to be at a school that cares as much as Mr. Bailey cares.
WHES Staff - We are so incredibly grateful for the staff at Woodmen Hills Elementary. Every day, our kid is greeted with a smile and comes home so happy and proud to be a Tornado. That kind of joy and sense of belonging doesn’t happen by accident; it is made possible by the amazing, strong women who lead and serve this school with so much heart. What stands out most is that every staff member seems genuinely invested; you can feel how welcoming, supportive, and positive the atmosphere is the moment you walk through the doors. This is only our first year at Woodmen Hills, but we already feel so thankful to be part of such a special school community. We are excited for all that is ahead and incredibly grateful for the people who make Woodmen Hills such an amazing place for our kids to learn, grow, and feel at home.

PIE represents the families, staff, students, and community members who come together to support our schools and students. We’ll continue with a brief zone-wide conversation followed by school-specific SAC sessions, creating opportunities to connect, share information, celebrate our schools, and work together to strengthen the Falcon Zone.
