Mr. Crain would like to send out a "Thank You" to all OGHS staff and students who were able to make the Hometown Christmas and Parade a great success. I saw several participating and having fun.

Kaylee Culbreth, Emily Allen and Emily Bowersox competed today in Charleston for a place in the WV All State Band. We're proud of them for taking on the challenge of auditioning for a limited number of spots. Good luck to them as we await the score results.

OG Alumni continue to shine! Recent grad Alex Marchese performed a beautiful concert with the West Liberty University Band on November 19. Also in the band are alumni Lydia DiBiagio and Shea Wimberly (not pictured).

Congratulations to the OG Marching Band for an amazing sounding performance at the Weirton Christmas Parade on Saturday. Having a week off from school and playing in cold weather did not stop them from a great outing!

On Saturday, the OG Band entertained the crowd during the Chester Christmas Parade. Kids and adults alike cheered on their marching Golden bears.

Get a hands-on introduction to Canva, learning how to create clean, professional designs using templates, fonts, and layout tools. Students will walk away with practical tips for building presentations, graphics, and other visual content. This session highlights student leadership while helping peers build real-world digital design skills.

The OGHS softball team will be selling tickets for "The Ultimate Christmas Wreath" Gift Card Raffle. The prize is a beautiful Christmas wreath with $625 worth of cash and gift cards. Tickets are $5.00 each. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 21st. The drawing will be held on Fri. Dec.19th...just in time for Christmas! Winner need not be present to win. All proceeds will benefit the OGHS Softball team.
