What is Title I Targeted Assistance?

Palmetto Scholars Academy operates a Title I Targeted Assistance Program.

Title I is a federally funded program designed to help schools provide additional academic support to students who demonstrate the greatest academic need.

Because PSA is a Targeted Assistance school, Title I funds and services are specifically used to provide supplemental support for students who meet established academic eligibility criteria.

This is different from a Title I Schoolwide Program, where Title I resources may be used broadly throughout the entire school.
