Congratulations to our Northeast Iowa District Athletic Director of the Year, Bryce Conway! This well-deserved recognition reflects 21 years of Riceville baseball coaching and 18 years of outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to our student-athletes, coaches, and Riceville Community School District. Through his hard work, organization, and passion for extracurricular activities, he helps create opportunities for students to grow, compete, and succeed both on and off the field. Bryce’s positive impact on our district and the support they provide to our athletic programs do not go unnoticed. Congratulations on this incredible achievement Bryce, and thank you for all you do to make our school community stronger!

Thank you to the Riceville Fire Department and all the guys for taking time out of your day to visit with our students and teach them about fire safety! ❤️🖤

Our students had a blast getting hands-on experience using the water hose and exploring inside the fire trucks! It was a fun and memorable learning experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to teach our students such important safety lessons.

Red Ribbon Week

We are partnering with the Mitchell County Substance Abuse Coalition for Red Ribbon Week. National Red ribbon week is October 23rd-31st. However, due to no school on October 28th and October 31st our schedule is slightly adjusted.

This year’s national theme is:

“Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free.”

Red Ribbon Week is a great opportunity to encourage our students to make healthy choices and recognize how their positive decisions impact their school, families, and community. We know how busy your schedules are, so our goal is to make participation simple, flexible, and fun!
